The thermowell is a device that installs into your kettle that allows a thermometer, digital thermometer probe, or temperature controller sensor to be inserted but kept isolated from the liquid the thermowell is immersed in.
The inner diameter of thermowell is for 1/4″ outer diameter stem thermometers.
Thermowell Size:Â Â ID – 7.5 mm; OD – 9.5 mm
Requires a 7/8″ drill bit to install. To prevent leaking, wrap the 1/2″ threads with Teflon tape prior to installing the hole.
